Dear All,

We would like to take this opportunity to send out our most deep-felt gratitude for the jubilant success of RAJYOTSAVA CELEBRATION on Saturday 30 November 2019 at  Town Hall, Springvale. This year, celebration was a combination of Stardom, Music and inclusive of local talents.

The event was filled  with overwhelmed crowd!  Started with lighting of lamp followed by state patriotic ‘Jaya Bharat Jnaniya Tanujate’ song.    Our local talents & children’s performances were mind-blowing. Later the melodies songs and dances added a colorful flavor to the event. We were delighted to welcome Badminton champions and present them  the winners & runners trophies.

Hon’ble Ms Gabrielle Williams, Minister for Prevention of Family Violence & Minister for Women & Youth as our Chief guest and she spoke high about Sangha and appreciated our services to the community. Later minister handed over momentous to  Kannada school teachers for their relentless services. Followed by distribution of quiz prizes to winners and runners of Kannada Quiz program.

Thereafter, Upendra was received a warm welcome by aarathi   with a  DJ; ‘Come on Come on Director’  song, whole crowd welcomed with standing ovation, which mesmerized everyone  with joy and brought a cheerful atmosphere. Mr Gandhi Bevinakoppa MKS President was called upon on the stage for felicitation of   his recent   HORANADU KANNIDIGA award.

Local talents performances continued with combination of dances and songs. Sandalwood Real star Upendra was requested on the stage to handover momentous to all sponsors. Upendra has delivered wonderful dialogues of his superhit movies and danced for song of ‘MTV Subbhalakshmige Bari Oolu Bari Oolu’  gave an energetic   spirit to  Rajyostsva then Upendra and Priyanka joined the  dance group  for ‘Hoove..hoove,hoove..hoove’ song it  was absolutely spectacular! We loved every minute of it! The electricity coming from the stage was amazing. The sparks were flying, and the FLASHMOB dance of Upendra’s superhit movie songs was just stunning!! Even Upendra joined the crowd and danced with ecstasy.! There were no words to describe how magnificent it looked. The event  was just a masterpiece of combination of music & dance, every moment of it was entertaining.

Upendra was honoured  in recognition for  his outstanding performance  in Kannada movies.

We were honoured to have great sponsors who were instrumental in making the event happen however without their financial support we would have never pictured for our hopes and dreams to  come to life on stage and be such a success.

We were all so anxious to see how the night would turn out the turn out and we are proud to be able to inform you many thanks to all supporters & volunteers. All those involved have worked incredibly hard over the last 3 months which consists of  lengthy preparations and incessant rehearsals striving to make the opening night performance the best it could possibly be.

Everyone had a blast, it’s been a long time since we all had dinner together, which was a memorable moment.  The word ‘WOW’ was heard at every corner after the event. The overwhelming attendance has created an amazing golden milestone in the history of Melbourne Kannada Sangha.

Lastly Melbourne Kannada Sangha apologies for any lapses and untoward incidents.

 This notice of AGM is given in accordance with Melbourne Kannada Sangha constitution 7/2012, provision rule 9, 12 and 23 and sub rules (1), (2), (3) and (4) of rule 9 and 12.

The committee has appointed Mr. Clement Lobo as Returning officer to conduct elections in fair, impartial and transparent manner.

The election will culminate in formation of a new working group with four office bearers (President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer) and Ten executive committee members for a period of two years 2019-2021.

NOTE:

14/07/2019 – Last day for filing nominations with Returning officer in person/email.

Hasya Lasya and Gana Sudhe was  mammoth successful event.

The program started with MS Narasimhamurthy, standing comedian with wonderful jokes context to the real life.

He shared his life time humors experiences with other Karnataka star wars. The singers Kaushik and Sinchan entertained the crowd with thier mind blowing mesmerizing super hits mix of old and new

Kannada songs. The kids and adult have danced with ecstasy of their music. At last crowd have enjoyed the sumptuous dinner .

This was the another milestone in the history of MKS.

We would like to take this opportunity to send out our most deep-felt gratitude for the jubilant success of Rajyotsava Celebration on Saturday 10 November 2018 at Springvale Town Hall, Springvale. This year celebration was a combination of Stardom, Music and Comedy inclusive of local talents performance.

The event was full house.  Started with lighting lamp followed by Comedy show by Mysore Anand. We’re  thrilled to have Mysore Anand display-he’s warm, hilarious and great show It was absolutely made our night and brought back old memories, and everyone enjoyed in tears laughing. Our local talents children’s performances were mind-blowing. Later the melodies songs and dances added a colourful flavour to the event. Ms Gabrielle Williams Member of Parliament for Dandenong, representing of Hon’ble Premier  Daniel Andrews as our Chief guest and she spoke high about Sangha and appreciated our services to the community. She also promised to support our future Kannada Bhavana from Victorian Government. We were delighted to welcome Badminton champions and presented the winners’ trophies, and also to reward some of the supporters  of our event with a series of special awards.”

Thereafter, Dr Shivaraj Kumar received a warm welcome by aarathi and children  lined up with candle lights and  music; ‘SHIVA ..SHIVA ‘  song, whole crowd welcomed with standing ovation which mesmerised everyone  with joy and brought a cheerful atmosphere . Sriharsha,  (Singer) took over the stage with melodies music of  Kannada & Hindi fusion songs. Shivanna  song  ‘Jenina Holeyu Haalina Holeyu ‘ gave an energetic   spirit to  Rajyostsva then ‘Jagave Ondu Ranaranga’ added a  great flavour   and  Tagaru dance  was absolutely spectacular! We loved every minute of it! The electricity coming from the stage was amazing. The sparks were flying, and the FLASHMOB dance of Shivanna’s superhit movie songs was just stunning!! Even Shivanna joined the crowd and danced with ecstasy.! There is no words to describe how magnificent it looked. The event  was just a masterpiece of combination of music & dance, every moment of it was entertaining.

Dr Shivaraj Kumar was honoured with a presentation of title ‘MOOMBA STAR’  in recognition for  his outstanding performance  and achievement  across the  Kannada cinema  spectrum.

Dr Shivaraj Kumar kick started our Kannada Bhavana project by unveiling the KANNADA BHAVANA model and pledge to give complete support to makes our dream come true. Furthermore, he made announcement that the two of ‘KAVACHA’ movie profit will be given to proposed Kannada Bhavana.
